The simple rule

This overlay is not one universal Islamic calendar. It combines a chosen prayer-time method, a Hijri basis, and a maghrib-based observance boundary, then makes those assumptions visible in the output.

Daily basis
Prayer times and Hijri observance
The overlay foregrounds locality-sensitive prayer times and feast or fasting context instead of pretending that one flat date label is enough.
Boundary rule
Maghrib shift
The observance day can move after local maghrib even while the local civil Gregorian date is still unchanged.
